AHT Poll: What's Your Favorite Burger-Cooking Method?

There are many ways to cook a patty of meat. What's your favorite method?

I am not sure what to call mine. Technically it's pan fried, but using a Cast Iron Skillet does things to a beef patty that no mere normal pan can do. Would it be other or just pan fried? Hmmmmmm...

I just came in to post that I also use a cast iron pan but consider it griddled. Pan fried, to me, is something you do to chicken fried steak, involving 1/2" of oil or so.

Griddled. If done right, it's very hard to beat the "smashed into the griddle" method. Juicy in the middle. Crispy at the edges.

If done poorly, however, you get dry leather.
